My first month at We Are Acuity.

I have embarked on my graduate journey with We Are Acuity, a dynamic marketing agency. Here I have taken on the role of client communication, team collaboration, and digital marketing campaign setup. It has been an exciting month where I have finally put into action the skills I gained during my degree!
 
My initiation into the company began with a comprehensive onboarding process. This period not only familiarised me with the company's operations but also immersed me in its core values. The team's dedication to teaching me the intricacies of every aspect of the company ensured that I was fully prepared to embrace my new role. It became clear that We Are Acuity stood out from other agencies by their mission of unlocking local audiences for ambitious brands through strategically localized and creatively-driven marketing.
 
The process of settling in was made effortless by the warm and open atmosphere fostered by the team. They were always ready to address any queries and offer guidance. Initially, my days were primarily focused on absorbing all the knowledge and information which would then be translated it into various tasks, such as delegating with clients and uploading completed work for approval. As the weeks passed, I grew more confident in using the systems and tools, even taking the lead in the morning calls!
 
As a personal goal, I undertook the management of the company's social media as an individual project. This provided me with an excellent opportunity to apply my skills proactively.
 
Along the way, I had the privilege of being mentored by a number of the team including Archie Finnie, who guided me throughout my first month, which involved managing a host of client projects and running multiple paid digital marketing campaigns!
 
Overall, I'm thrilled to be continually learning something new each day, surrounded by a supportive and talented team. I look forward to seeing the extent of my personal and professional growth as I continue my journey at We Are Acuity.
