Bringing the town to life.

We love nothing more than seeing our hard work come to life, so when Watford Town Centre BID asked us to extend our rebranding by rolling out their new identity across the town, we were more than ready! Our mission: design banners for 35 locations along hashtag#Watford High Street, helping promote the new brand including the new website, and mark different zones in the town centre.

We opted for a clever, templated design that allowed for easy customisation, ensuring each zone had its own unique identity without blowing the budget. This meant creating different banners that could highlight retail areas, dining spots, entertainment, and services, all while helping visitors find their way around town.

By using vibrant colours, a fresh pattern, and simple icons for each business type, the banners brought a sense of place and purpose to each zone. And they didn’t just look pretty – they acted as way finders, guiding people to various attractions and making navigation a breeze.

The results?

A big thumbs up from our friends at the Business Improvement District (BID) Glen Hempenstall, Kara Mesiano and the Watford itself! And in June 2024, just one month after the banners were installed, the town centre BID saw a huge 882.8% jump in website visitors and over 100% increases in social media impressions and followers.

Not bad for a few well-placed banners!
